this self-bailing fun machine has the big stuff: mast, boom, swing keel and trailer. it needs sails, rudder and tiller. fortunately, these items can be found online through many and vibrant sailing groups dedicated specifically to this boat, or easily fabricated. it does have the mechanism for the roller furling, but not the jib itself. i estimate the retail price for these items new at approx. $500. however you can have the sails made or find good used, and the rudder assembly is a relative easy do. the hardware would run about 50 bucks at most machine shops. the rudder itself and tiller ar just wood. also, i got this boat at an auction approx. 10 years ago and never got the title. i can give a bill of sail. on a boat of this age getting a title is an easy do...i just never "did" it.
i will consider any reasonable offer or possible trade for a true moped (with pedals) in good running condition. also, possibly an old (1960's small motorcycle 50 to 125cc. cash is always bet but i will look at what you've got. let me know. i just need it out of my barn.
